  Ball စကားလုံး အီဒီယံ အသုံးအႏႈန္းမ်ား

ဒီတပတ္ English Learning: America Idioms and Expressions က႑မွာ ေဘာလံုး (ball) အေျခခံတဲ့  အီဒီယံအသုံးအႏႈန္းမ်ားျဖစ္တဲ့ the ball is in your court, get the ball rolling, keep the ball rolling နဲ႔ play hard ball တုိ႔ကို တင္ျပထားပါတယ္။

01-the ball is in your court

Ball = ေဘာလံုး, In = အထဲမွာ, Your = သင့္၏, Court = ကြင္း ျဖစ္ၾကၿပီး စကားစုတခုလံုးရဲ ႔ တိုက္ရိုက္အဓိပၸါယ္က ေဘာလံုးဟာ သင့္၏ ကစားကြင္းထဲမွာ ေရာက္ေနသည္ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဒီအသံုး ဆင္းသက္လာတာကေတာ့ တင္းနစ္ (tennis) ကစားနည္းက ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ တင္းနစ္ ရိုက္ရာမွာ တဦးခ်င္းရိုက္ရိုက္၊ အတြဲလိုက္ရိုက္ရိုက္။ တဖက္က ရိုက္လိုက္တဲ့ ေဘာလံုးဟာ တဖက္ကြင္းကို ေရာက္လာၿပီဆိုရင္ အဲဒီဖက္က ကစားသမားရဲ ႔ တာဝန္ကေတာ့ ပြဲဆက္ကစားႏိုင္ဖို႔ ေဘာလံုးကို ျပန္ရိုက္ႏိုင္ဖို႔ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဒီသေဘာအတိုင္းပါပဲ အီဒီယံအဓိပၸါယ္က ေန႔စဥ္ဘဝမွာ တဖက္ဖက္က တခုခုလုပ္ေပးလိုက္ၿပီဆိုရင္ ဘယ္လိုတံု႔ျပန္ၿပီး ေရွ ႔ဆက္မယ့္ တာဝန္က ကိုယ့္ဖက္ကတာဝန္ ျဖစ္တဲ့သေဘာမ်ဳိး ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အလားတူပဲ ကိုယ့္ဖက္ကေတာ့ လုပ္ေပးလိုက္ၿပီး အလုပ္ျဖစ္ဖို႔ တံု႔ျပန္မႈက တဖက္ရဲ ႔ တာဝန္ဆိုၿပီး ရည္ညႊန္းေျပာဆိုႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

02- get the ball rolling

Get = တခုခုျဖစ္ေအာင္ လုပ္သည္, Ball = ေဘာလံုး, Rolling = Roll = ႀကိယာ (verb) အျဖစ္အသံုးျပဳထားတဲ့ လိွမ့္တယ္ ေဝါဟာရမွ ဆင္းသက္လာၿပီး၊ Rolling ကေတာ့ လိွမ့္ေနတယ္ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ စကားစုတခုလံုးရဲ ႔ တိုက္ရိုက္အဓိပၸါယ္က ေဘာလံုးကစၿပီး လိွမ့္ေအာင္လုပ္တာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ တခ်ဳိ ႔ အားကစားနည္းေတြမွာဆိုရင္ ေဘာလံုးကို စကန္၊ စလိွမ့္ဖို႔လိုတဲ့ ပြဲမ်ဳိးေတြ ရွိပါတယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ ဒီအသံုးကလည္း အဲဒီကေန ဆင္းသက္လာတာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ေန႔စဥ္ဘဝ အီဒီယံအသံုးကေတာ့ လုပ္ငန္းတခုခုပဲျဖစ္ျဖစ္ ႀကိဳးပမ္းမႈတခုခုပဲျဖစ္ျဖစ္ စတင္ၿပီး လည္ပတ္ဖို႔၊ စတင္ျဖစ္ေျမာက္ဖို႔ကို လုပ္ေဆာင္ေပးတာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

04-play hard ball

Walk စကားလံုးဆိုင္ရာ အီဒီယံအသံုးအႏႈန္းမ်ား

01- walk the walk

စာလုံးေပါင္း က Walk က ဒီေနရာမွာ verb ျကိယာအျဖစ္ သုံးထားျပီး လမ္းေလ်ွာက္သည္။ The Walk က ဒီေနရာမွာ Noun နာမ္အျဖစ္ သုံးထားျပီး ေလွ်ာက္တဲ့လမ္၊ ခင္းထားတဲ့လမ္းကုိ ဆုိလုိပါတယ္။ စကားပုိဒ္တခုလံုးရဲ ႔ တုိက္ရိုက္အဓိပၸါယ္က ခင္းထားတဲ့လမ္းကုိေလွ်ာက္တာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။  အီဒီယံဆုိတဲ့သြယ္ဝိုက္ အဓိပၸါယ္က  အေျပာအတုိင္း လက္ေတြ႔လုပ္ေဆာင္တာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ေလျကီးပဲ ေပးတာမဟုတ္ဘဲ အေျပာႏွင့္အညီ လက္ေတြ႔လုပ္ေဆာင္တာမ်ဳိး ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဒီအသုံးဟာ ႏွစ္ဆယ္ရာစု အေမရိကန္ျပည္ေထာင္စုမွာ ေခတ္စားလာတာျဖစ္ျပီး talk the talk ဆုိတဲ့ idiom ႏွင့္ တြဲသုံးေလ့ရွိပါတယ္။ စကားေျပာတယ္လုိ့ အဓိပၸါယ္ရတဲ့ talk ကုိ အေျခခံတဲ့ talk the talk  အသုံးကေတာ့ ေလလုံးျကီးတာ၊ ေလလုံးထြားတာ၊ ေလာကြတ္ေကာင္းတာ၊ ပါးစပ္က လြယ္လြယ္ႏွင့္  ေျပာတာ အေျပာျကီးသက္သက္ က်မတုိ့ ျမန္မာဘန္းစကားအရ ေျပာရင္ေတာ့ ေခ်ာေနတာမ်ဳိးကုိ ဆုိလုိတာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

02-walk on a tightrope

စာလုံးေပါင္းက walk က လမ္းေလ်ွာက္သည္၊ On က အေပၚမွာ A က တစ္ခု၊ Tight က   တင္းတာ၊ Rope က  ျကိဳးျဖစ္ၿပီး Tightrope က တင္းေနတဲ့ ျကိဳးကုိ ဆုိလုိတာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ စကားစုတခုလံုးရဲ ႔ တုိက္ရိုက္အဓိပၸါယ္က တင္းေနတဲ့ ျကိဳးေပၚမွာ လမ္းေလ်ွာက္သည္ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။က်မတုိ့ ျမန္မာအသုံးျဖစ္တဲ့ ျကိဳးတန္းေပၚမွာလမ္း ေလွ်ာက္တယ္ဆုိတဲ့ စကားအတုိင္းပါ။ ဆပ္ကပ္ပြဲေတြမွာ အျမင့္မွာ ဟုိဘက္ဒီဘက္ တန္းထားတဲ့ဲ့ျကိဳးတန္းေပၚမွာ လမ္းေလွ်ာက္ျပရတဲ့ လူဟာ တလွမ္းျခင္းျကည့္ေလွ်ာက္ေနရျပီး၊ နည္းနည္းေလး တိမ္းေစာင္းတာႏွင့္ ေအာက္ျပုဳတ္က်ရင္ အသက္အႏၱရာယ္ က်ေရာက္ႏုိင္သလုိ  အီဒီယံသြယ္ဝိုက္ အဓိပၸါယ္ကလည္း ရွင္းပါတယ္။ ဒုကၡအျကီးအက်ယ္ ေရာက္ႏိုင္လုိ့ သတိသိပ္ျပီး ထားေနရတဲ့သေဘာ နည္းနည္းေလး မွားတာႏွင့္ ခံရမဲ့အေျခအေနမ်ိဳး၊ သိပ္ကုိ ဆင္ဆင္ျခင္ျခင္ ေနရတဲ့သေဘာမ်ဳိး။  ေဘးျကပ္နံျကပ္ အျခေအေနမ်္ိဳးကုိ ဆုိလုိတာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
